To support Korean American seniors facing food insecurity by providing culturally appropriate groceries, nutritional supplements, and essential items through monthly or seasonal food distributions.
This program not only addresses physical needs but also fosters emotional wellbeing, dignity, and connection.
1️⃣ Monthly Food Distribution
Distribute food packages once a month to registered senior members
Include:
Rice, kimchi, seaweed, tofu, noodles
Canned fish, soup ingredients, side dishes (banchan)
Fresh fruits and vegetables
Nutritional drinks or supplements for seniors
Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, masks, etc.)
2️⃣ Seasonal Holiday Special Boxes
Chuseok gift boxes (송편, 한과, 전 재료 등)
Lunar New Year meal kits (떡국떡, 사골육수, 만두 등)
Thanksgiving care packages
3️⃣ Home Delivery Option
For seniors with mobility issues, partner with volunteers or delivery services to ensure home drop-off.

Partner with:
Korean markets & grocery stores (H-Mart, Zion, Arirang Market, Hannam Chain)
Food banks (Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, local churches)
Corporations and community donors
Healthcare companies for nutritional products

Recruit youth volunteers for:
Packaging
Delivery assistance
Personal wellness checks during deliveries

Korean American seniors aged 65 or older who are experiencing financial hardship are eligible for this program.

Yes. For seniors with mobility challenges or health concerns, we provide volunteer-based home delivery service.
Each package includes basic Korean groceries (rice, noodles, tofu, seaweed, side dishes), fresh produce, nutritional supplements, and personal hygiene products.
Food distribution is held once a month. Special seasonal distributions may also occur during holidays.
A simple intake interview will be conducted to determine eligibility. Full financial documentation is not required.
No. All food assistance is provided free of charge. Optional donations are welcome but not required.
